Two folders
Corpus is tagged for the writer; see How do I store corpus and cite tags while writing?. Packs describe the outside; see How do market research packs work, and what do I edit after the model runs?. Spawned topics say rival notes are for contrast only.
Hits is not a rival dump. Your proven lines go in Hits; someone else’s sales copy is not your fact. See How do hits feed the writer, and will it copy someone else’s product?.
Keep them apart while writing
Tick only the corpus tags this piece needs. Factory topics explain pain and method first; the brand lands where the question allows. Do not paste pack tables into the draft.
After you publish, re-run the same question in How do you run a rank check—from question to result?. If a model mixes a rival name with your offer, fix corpus and public claims, ship again, then re-check. GEO: How do you get cited in AI answers?.
Do this
- File your product facts in corpus and tag them.
- Keep rival notes in a market pack; review, then spawn a topic.
- Cite only your corpus tags in the writer.
- Re-check the same question after you ship; untangle names if they mix.
Short answers
- Can a comparison table stay in the research pack?
- Yes. The four lanes are for review, then spawning a topic. That is not corpus and the writer does not ingest it automatically.
- What if a customer names a rival?
- Contrast in one sentence on this topic. Facts still come from your corpus. Do not ingest their spec sheet.
