How do you run a rank check—from question to result?
AnswerRank check is not “which blue link.” In Mentions you write how people ask and which brand names to watch, run engines, and see whether generative answers name you. That is GEO—see What is Dianwu?. Engines with platform keys can ask for you; others still take a pasted answer on the same page.
Questions first, then engines
Open Mentions. Brand terms are the names you want spoken (product and domain can both go in). Write questions people actually ask, not ad slogans. Dianwu’s own eight prompts can be filled in one tap—see Which questions does Dianwu watch in its own rank checks?.
Which AIs to cover: Which AIs does rank check cover—ChatGPT, Doubao, DeepSeek?. DeepSeek, Doubao, ChatGPT, and Tongyi run when keys are set; Yuanbao needs a Hunyuan key. Paste still works for the rest. Scoring looks at you, competitors, and cited sites.
Nothing published, nothing to cite
Models will not invent your product facts. Write a master draft, sync it out, then re-check the same questions later.
Runs follow the plan, then the wallet—see How is writing quota billed?. Empty repeats cost less than publishing a hard claim once.
Do this
- Open Mentions, save brand terms and questions.
- Run wired engines; paste answers for the rest.
- See which lines name you, which do not, and who else appears.
- For misses, harden the public draft and docs, ship, then re-ask the same line.
What this page does
| You enter | You read |
|---|---|
| Brand terms | Whether the answer names you |
| Questions | How people ask |
| Engines | Each model’s answer |
| Competitors (optional) | Whether someone else is named first |
Short answers
- Is this the same as SEO rank?
- No. This watches the answer body, not the blue-link list. See What is Dianwu?.
- Can I use it without API keys?
- Yes. Paste answers from each product’s UI onto the same page and still score mentions.
